Dave,
ARX format is very clean. (But make sure your editor is not mucking
with the file too.) If you know the 'Request ID' ('Entry ID') I would
grep for that value and route that to a new file. I would also grab
the top 4 (5?) header lines from the ARX as well. And that should be
what you need.
Each data row begins on a new line with the prefix of "DATA". The
whole record should be one line. UNLESS there are attachments to the
data row, and those would be in a sub dir related to the arx file
location.
