It appears that 5.1.2 patch 130 had new support for webservices. From the releasenotes:
Changes from MasterARSuite TM 5.1.2.127 to 5.1.2.130
New Features:
- When an SQL error occurs during an interactive migration, the user is now notified via a popup. He/She has the possibility to cancel the migration
- During scheduled migration, it is now possible to automatically cancel the migration when either any or specific SQL error occurs
- In the Navigate > Workflow Sequence > Execute On dialog, the list of groups to which the user belongs now appears in alphabetical order
- It is now possible to list forms that are not included in Applications or Packing Lists
- It is now possible to list fields for wich the 'Allow any user to submit' flag is not set
- MasterARSuite now supports Web Services
