This is actually part of a couple of quirks in how groups are displayed.
The User form lists the data in a way I didn't expect to see it, too.
They listed it as a documentation bug - the software seems to function
ok, so I can't really say it's a product bug.

Subject: ITSM 7.0 Group Names ?

I am currently evaluating ITSM 7.0

When I create new Support Groups as outlined in page 42/43 of the ITSM-
Config-Guide-700 and then go to the Group form and check, both the
'Group Name' field and 'Group ID' field contain the Group ID.

The 'Long Group Name' shows 'My Company -> IT Support Organization ->
Internal Support'

The 'Group Name' is 'Internal Support' and that's what should be
populated into the 'Group Name' field instead of the 'Group ID', at
least that's what I would expect. It would make it much easier on the
admin when reviewing existing groups in the results list.

I know that I can probably fix the workflow to have the group name
pushed into the correct field, but this sounds like something Remedy
should do out of the box.

Rgds,

Chris
