ARS 7.0 patch 1 Mid Tier 7.0 patch 1 ITSM 7.0 (Approval Server, Assignment Engine, Email Engine, Flashboards, Incident Management, Problem Management) CMDB 2.0 Windows Server 2003 SQL Server 2005 IIS 6 ServletExec 5.0 This is a new install on a server that did not have a previous version of ARS. No development has been done on this server. The system is the same as when it was installed.
I started getting the "An unhandled win32 exception occurred in arrecond.exe. [3836]" error this week. The "Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger" window pops up asking me if I want to debug. When I click No, the pop-up goes away and returns in exactly 3 seconds. When I click Yes, the Visual Studio debugger opens and displays this message "Unhandled exception at 0x7c3417fb in arrecond.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000078". When I click the Break button the assembly code is displayed with this line highlighted: 7C3417FB mov eax,dword ptr [ecx] I have not found anything in the log files (I have all logs activated). The arrecond.exe is located in this folder "C:\Program Files\AR System Applications\remedytest\BMC Atrium CMDB\server\bin\". The product name in the exe is "BMC CMDB Reconciliation Engine". Any ideas, or do I need to wait until the next patch? Thanks.
