** The best would be if you would urlencode the Summary field (and perhaps the login name and case id as well). To urlencode them, you could install for instance the arfperl plug in and let a few lines of perl do the trick.
Of course you could also have the replace function do the urlencoding, but it would require quite a few replace statements to do it properly.

I am having a problem here and I hope someone here might know of a way

I have a button that this AL run from: PERFORM-ACTION-OPEN-URL
mailto:$Requester Login Name+$?subject=$Case ID+$ $Summary$

This works fine 99% of the time but I have seen this problem were the
summary has a double quote or an & in the text.

When this happens I get an error (The command line argument is not
valid. Verify the switch you are using.)
