We use it. Here is the best advice you can
get:
Go to your BMC sales rep and tell them you do not want this
product. Instead ask for the SQL Discovery product. The SMS product is S O
S L O W!!. It uses WMI query (WQL?) instead of an SQL query to the SMS database.
You will get 10x the performance using the SQL product. I am trying to get BMC
to agree to let me swap the products. So far no luck.
