There is an issue with the desktop client (6.3 up through patch 17) and auto login. The first time an individual opens the desktop client after their computer is assigned a new IP address, the login prompt will come up. After they login, auto login will work until the IP address changes again. Then they will be presented with the login screen again.
Even with desktop computers configured with DHCP, this is usually not an issue because of lease expiration times associated with the DHCP. It can be an issue with laptop computers as these devices can move from network segment to network segment. It seems that this issue can also happen with desktop clients on Citrix servers. This issue will effect only a small number of people (change in IP address and auto login) so it doesn't show up often but I wanted to alert people that the issue exists.
