Title: RE: ORACLE Error (UNCLASSIFIED)
**
Ok, I asked too soon . . . our exchange support just came to me and said 'try again'.  They found the relay option and added our remedy server to the allow relay.  It now works.  None of the other systems/server on our environment have to have this done.  Anyone know what's special about Remedy??

Thanks to anyone that might have replied =)

Subject: External Email notifications not working . . .
Importance: High

Ok, I've tried Remedy and their support didn't help.

ARS 6.3 patch 18
HPUX 11.11
Oracle 10.2.1 (w/ 9.2 libraries)

Mailbox Configuration:
SMTP
SSL = No
We've confirmed correct Server, Port & Username

The criticality of this is high.  We send out all our notifications to pagers via email.  These are failing.  All was working fine on version 5.0.  We just completed our upgrade this weekend to 6.3.  Unfortunately, we never thought to test external emails.  We tested the internal and of course these were fine.

We receive the following errors when we try to send email to external addresses:

Invalid Addresses;

  nested exception is:

                class javax.mail.SendFailedException: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [EMAIL PROTECTED]

javax.mail.SendFailedException: Invalid Addresses;

  nested exception is:

Any ideas?!?!  We've confirmed our settings with our exchange support, and confirmed our port is correct.  We just can't get out . . .

Thanks!
