Hi, Claire:

Is it something like,
"The category, type, and Item combination is not valid. Select the
category, type, and item in the field lists."

If it is, this message is found in filter,
HPD:HPD-CategorizationCheck02.
The filter that does the actual checking is
HPD:HPD-CategorizationCheck01 and immediately precedes the one above it.

If you are automating the setting of some fields, don't forget to set
zTmpKeyword to MAINHELPDESK and in some cases zSchemaProperName "Help
Desk Case". As the name of the form or module is used in quite a few
qualifications

It is used in the set field qual for the "...Check01" filter mentioned
above.

Also there is another hidden field on the Helpdesk form that records the
Cat/type/item combination, labeled 'Case Category - Type - Item'. The
combination should match the Cat/Type/Item selected.

Hope that helps,
Michelle

Subject: ARS 6.3 - HD 6.0 - Set Fields in an AL

I am really starting to feel like a novice here!

I am creating some Als that are triggered by a button click. They then
set several fields on the HPD:Helpdesk form and then the analyst hits
save.

When I do a test ticket, it tells me the Cat/type/item is not valid. I
have it in the system in the SHR:Categorization form.

Any ideas????
