Hello, My Fellow Flashboard Developers and all other ARSListers: Yep, another drill down bug, officially confirmed last night; defect ID SW00252568
We had a request to place a Flashboard on another web page. I'm sure we can take a snapshot and give them a static image. However, drill down is required. I thought ..hmm seems simple enough. They can just place the FB in an iframe or something similar. I started testing it using the fbimageservlet. It displays. Even the hover works properly. I thought, "how cool". But, then came the drill down. "Not cool!!" The drill down strips the "arsys" out of the URL string, resulting in a The Page Cannot be Found error page. http://hostname/forms/arservername/HPD%3AHelpDesk/Support?qual=('7'%20%3 C%3D%203)%20AND%20('240000006'%20like%20%22Service%20Desk%25%22)%20AND%2 0('240000006'%20%3D%20%22Service%20Desk%22)%20AND%20('240000015'%20%3D%2 0%24NULL%24) Behavior occurs and was tested on: Mid-Tier 7.0 P1, P2 and Mid-Tier 6.3 Patch 17 Windows 2003 IIS 6, Servlet Exec 5.0 patch 6, The only workaround I can think of is to place the image on a form, and place the form in an iframe. Have others found other ways to display FB images outside of the context of a Remedy form AND include drill down? Thanks, Michelle PS The drill down appears to call "javascript:void EventDispatcher.drillDownToForm("servername",Form","View","qualification ")" ESM Mission: "To provide the most accurate, timely, and actionable information to our customers so that they can effectively support the Mary Kay IST environment". _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at http://www.wwrug.org
