To install both the CMDB 2.0 CI Viewer and the SLM 7.0 products on a remote Unix box, you'll need to run an X Server on your Windows workstation.  If you use Putty to connect to your server, I'd recommend the free open-source Xming, http://www.straightrunning.com/XmingNotes/, X Server for Windows XP/2003/Vista.  There are a few other options out there, but this one is free, easy to setup and worked like a charm for us.
