Well....being no one else has tackled this one, here it
goes.
What IMAP server are you connecting to?
Have you tried configuring an imap client (like outlook) to
connect and poll mail on this account, it will likely give you sufficient errors
to allow you to troubleshoot the problem.
If you are able to configure your local machine with an
imap client try it from the server, it may be possible that the ports aren't
open from one server to the next. You can verify this by telnetting from
the server to the imap server...if it works you are likely not having a port
problem.

Hi
All,
We are changing our
email protocol from MAPI to use IMAP/SMTP. The outgoing mail is working but
there hasn't been any success with the incoming mail. I am wondering if anyone
went through this process or uses IMAP/SMTP and had any problems with the
incoming mail. There are no errors in the log. I have a ticket open with Remedy
support now but we haven't made much progress. Any ideas would be helpful, I am
really grasping for anything at this time since I am now having to provide a
daily status on this "hot" issue.
