You could add a filter to the field to prepend whatever chars you
like.  Not sure if the prefix passed in the RP prepends the valie or
replaces the first two chars.  A quick test would tell.

I know you can use the $PROCESS$ @@:Application-Generate-GUID PO to get
PO
or any other two character prefix in an Active Link.
I was hoping to be able to flag the default setting like you can with
the Request-ID.

Any ideas?
