We are currently on 7.6.04 system and are looking to going to 9.0 and are not
sure about the path to be taken.
Option 1:
Install a new instance of 9.0 and cherry pick old
customizations and re-do them in the new version.
Bring in data from 7.6.04 to 9.0 (should we use DDM or
rrrchive??)

Option 2:
Migrate the 7.6.04 version to 9.0 (not sure if there is a
direct path or have to hop through 8.x)

Would appreciate if I could get suggestions and/or white papers covering this?
