Unisys has a cloud based Remedy offering - Unisys Edge BMC Remedy SaaS

We have it hosted two ways - Unisys Secure Private Cloud for some of our government customers and MS Azure for other customers.

1.       What version? Currently 8.1 but moving to a version 9 offering as soon as the issues are patched

2.       Custom apps or ITSM or both? ITSM with customizations

3.       Which OS & DB combo used? Windows & MS SQL

4.       Any integrations? Yes several in place. Examples - Liferay portal, AssureBridge SSO, ADDM, BPPM, Dashboards, BMC Analytics, PureShare Analytics...

5.       Pros & cons for moving to cloud?  Pro - no capital expenditure since you aren't buying equipment. Con - You have to work with the cloud OS provider's upgrade/patch schedule, not your own.

I’ve been asked to look into moving our custom app environment into the cloud and I wanted to get as much real-world info as I can.
