The problem is that the native Remedy workflow doesn't have access to the
API, and you need access to the API to be able to determine who is
currently logged on, and do that sort of license monitoring.  Because of
this...you can't replace it with Remedy workflow.  You could replace it
with a plugin, with a stand alone java program, a c program, or really any
other language that uses the api (usch as perl)...but, you can't use native
remedy workflow to do what the perl scripts are doing (which is probably
why the scripts were written)
