Hi All I have a requirement to close an Incident on submit. Basically document there was an alert but no action is required. The submit comes into the HPD:Interface_Create via a web service and if certain criteria is met, the Status gets set to Closed. Problem is in order to create the Incident as Closed or Cancelled there has to be an Assigned Group and Assignee. The Assigned Group is no problem as the default group does not have notifications enabled. Assigned Person is problem. If I create a dummy person "Closedby Nobody", that dummy person is going to show up in the Assignee menu when the group is selected in any Incident.
Through the HPD:Interface_Create is there a way to create the Closed Incident without an assignee? If that is not possible, is there a way to hide the dummy assignee from being selected from the Assignee menu?
