Hello Listers, ARS 6.3 SQL 2000 and a remote Linked DB also MS SQL 2000 I am trying to update a remote table via a Linked DB on the ARSystem server. I gave ARAdmin an account on the remote SQL Server and allowed it be a datareader and datawriter.
When I run an escalation with a Direct SQL action I get this error. */BEGIN TRANSACTION */Insert INTO mtnprocure.License_Management_test.dbo.Licenses (PRODUCT, QUANTITY) VALUES ( 'GLP ACROBAT 7.0 STD', '2') */* WARNING * Distributed transaction completed. (SQL Server 8525)[OLE/DB provider returned message: Unspecified error] */ROLLBACK TRANSACTION */*** ERROR *** The ROLLBACK TRANSACTION request has no corresponding BEGIN TRANSACTION. (SQL Server 3903) I found a lot of references on the List to the component services and changing security settings but they all referenced SQL 2003. We are running SQL 2000.
