Hi,

If it is a custom sso solution, I suppose the AREASSO.dll and AREASSO.cfg would
be whatever custom stuff you built yourself.

In other words nothing included in the Remedy installation...

**Hello LJ,
You are right. we do have custom SSO solution. But we do the necessary changes
in below 2 files to enable custom SSO:
1) AREASSO.dll
2) AREASSO.cfg.
But after installation of new version i did not find these files so thought of
asking here whether we miss anything.

 **Amit,
You can potentially still use the c based sso solution, but it'll be manually
configured, and as you move forward with Remedy versions, it'll become more
difficult....Remedy is really moving away from C to Java....so, if it's truly a
custom internal solution, you should be able to interface with it through a
Java interpretation.....good luck with the configuration :)

Thank you for your reply. Actually problem is this custom SSO is getting used
by multiple application in our organization So not sure whether it can be
rewritten . But my question is in upgraded version we will not have files like
areasso.dll & areasso.cgf? I mean i never gets these file from my custom SSO
team.

 Amit,
Since 7.6.04 Remedy has gone through a few changes....moved from a C based
server to Java, and moved from mostly C based plugins to Java plugins....while
it's still possible to use C plugins with 9.x, it's recommended to move to Java
based ones....is there any chance your custom SSO can be re-written in Java as
part of the upgrade?
