Are you importing just the overlay (the form with the _o) or are you trying to
import the base and overlay form? What options are you choosing when
importing? Have you tried using the Deployment Management Tool?

Subject: Arerr 8985 on Import

**
Hi listers -

I’ve been away from Remedy/BMC for 9 months and recently got asked to help with
something.

I’m trying to import just the CHG:Infrastructure Change form on a Remedy 9.1
server. It’s an overlay of the existing form. I keep getting this error and
I don’t remember how to get around it:

“Roles permissions have been removed from the object because the object is not
in a deployable application; form: CHG:Infrastructure Change__o, field Id: 1,
8985”

I know there IS a way around this because I moved the main application forms
MANY times (HPD:Help Desk, CHG:Infrastructure Change, etc) without using a
deployable application to do so. I just don’t remember the HOW. Do you have
to use Migrator? Go into base development mode?

Thanks in advance -
