I changed the int to an unsigned int and that fixed the issue. Thanks for
all of your help on this topic. The ARSlist is a great resource!

Did you get any errors running the other commands.

(Our System Administrators did not want us to change the system's perl
so each app on the Solaris server has it's own copy of perl. I compiled
ARSPerl against the ActiveState AvtivePerl 5.8.7 with no problems)

I am compiling on a Solaris 9 server and am trying to compile ARS perl.
Has anyone come across this error when trying to compile ARS Perl? I am
on a 6.03 server using Patch 18. Any insight would be helpful since I
am not experienced in compiling code.
