Certainly; add a field to your form, with field id of 1005. Then, on query, you can set that field and it should control your query.
See Basic Guide, under Reserved Fields. -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, January 17, 2007 8:50 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Populate Advanced Search bar via workflow in User Tool Is it possible to populate field values into the advanced search bar from a form? I have a form that holds data in a specific field (date of birth), and I need to be able to use two other search fields (dob start and dob end) to write a dob >= dobstart and dob<= dobend type of query statement (without having the user actually write the query), while still allowing QBE matches on the form. Is there a way to, on a button click, populate specific fields into the advanced search bar? This is user tool, NOT web. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks deb ____________________________________________________________________________ ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org ARSlist:"Where the Answers Are" _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org ARSlist:"Where the Answers Are"
