Your advanced bar is a character field with ID 1005. Once you create that field
on your form, you can use it in your workflow to do what you want with it just
like it was any other field...

Subject: Populate Advanced Search bar via workflow in User Tool

Is it possible to populate field values into the advanced search bar from a
form?

I have a form that holds data in a specific field (date of birth), and I need
to be able to use two other search fields (dob start and dob end) to write a
dob >= dobstart and dob<= dobend type of query statement (without having the
user actually write the query), while still allowing QBE matches on the form.
Is there a way to, on a button click, populate specific fields into the
advanced search bar?

This is user tool, NOT web.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks
