Hey Everybody,

I've been having a problem with Guides running on Modify. We have a form
that has a guide run when a ticket is modified. This works fine when the
user opens the User Client, searches for their ticket, makes changes and
saves. However, if the user uses an email shortcut directly to a ticket
in that form (the shortcut generated within the Remedy emails that opens a
particular ticket via the User Client) and tries to make a change, as soon
as they hit save, the User Client crashes with no Remedy error messages.
I've tried the same scenario in a test form - I created the form, added an
Active Link that changes the label of a field, created a guide that calls
that Active Link, and created an Active Link that runs this guide whenever
a ticket in this test form is modified. I'm getting the same error.
However, if I disable the A/L that calls the Guide and just set the 1st
A/L to run on modify (so that no guide is running, but the same A/L is
being run on Modify), the User Client doesn't crash. Has anyone else seen
this? Is this a bug or am I doing something I shouldn't be doing? We are
running AR System Version 6.3.
