It was suggested to me in an offline post that it may be a bug in the base
6.3 code we are running....thank you for the suggestion...I will definitely
take a look at that method to see if it bypasses this 'feature'

Subject: Re: Exported Forms loosing Application

**
One way I 've worked around this is to perform the initial import, which
strips the role permissions, modify the app and add the new forms, then
perform the import a second time using the 'import in place' option. The
second import will import the forms as members of the application, thus
retaining the role permissions.

Probably possible you would have to export and import the entire application
in order to maintain the role permissions on the forms.

ARS 6.3

I have a deployable application in dev...when I export a form and related
workflow from this server and re-import it to another box Remedy strips all
roll permissions from it because it says that it's not part of a deployable
application...but the problem is that the same deployable application exists
on the destination server. This forces me to manually reapply all roll
permissions on the destination server...I've done this before successfully
on other forms and applications so I know it's possible...any suggestions
about what may be causing this??
