This may be the only part of the system that is working properly for me, but I have been successfully doing Syncs of the Search Database on two different servers (7.0.01 and 7.0.01.001) that have all of ITSM 7 except Asset installed including SLM (30K objects). I initially tried an overwrite of Admin 7.0.01 with Patch 001, then uninstalled it completely and installed Patch 001 clean as BMC Remedy is now recommending. In any case, I have not seen either the 7.0.01 or 7.0.01.001 Admin Tools crash when I initiate a sync and leave them open on the desktop (Windows XP Pro on 3ghz P4 with 1gb RAM), usually overnight. I ran another one when I got in this morning and it only took about an hour. If it matters, I have the JRE 1.4.2_13 installed. I have not been having any problems with the Patch 001 Migrator either although all I have been using it for is object inventories and comparisons. Usually everything I touch breaks, but this is working for me.
