Is the diary required on each modification of the record? If so then you can just do a check against the Modified Date field. If it is not required then adding a new datestamp on when the diary changes would probably be the best way to go Fred

I want to set the status to Assigned. How can I compare the most recent diary entry for a ticket's work log field to the current system date/time? --- Michael Cupp, Jr., Contractor, RCF Oracle Database Administrator AFRL EBS Helpdesk Team Lead AFRL/SNOD Enterprise Operations Center Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio DSN 785-3827 _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org ARSlist:"Where the Answers Are"
