It will hold the floating license to the length of time specified in your
Administrator Configuration for that value.  You can shorten that time if
the users log out rather than just closing the browser window - that
releases the license immediately.  Or, there are ways to release the license
manually when they close the browser window.

The means by which you do this are pretty consistent across recent versions,
but have minor variations.  Consult the documentation on your version of ARS
for details.
