Hi I am having this setup in our production environment right now, and I am having major problems due to a known bug (SW00250589). Seems like a users password cannot include some special characters, (åäö) in my case. I don't know the exact character limitation but I know some special German characters are also affected. If any of these characters are included, you will get an "Authentication Error" at login, like the password was wrong...
This has forced me into upgrading my ARServer to 7.0.1 which I will do this weekend. So if you ask me, don't as this setup. // Niklas Asplund Siemens IT Solutions and Services Sweden On 08/02/07, Lucero, Michelle - IST contractor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi, Daniel: As of this past weekend our production Mid-Tier server is now 7.0.01 Patch 001. Our AR Server is still 6.3 Patch 18 (scheduled for patch 20 at the end of the month). So far so good. The good news is that the Mid-Tier launches noticeably faster. However, we did tweak the Apache Tomcat - Java Initial and Maximum Memory Pool. We were on 7.0.00 Patch 1 - using Servlet Exec before. Environment: Windows 2003/IIS 6 Hope that helps, Michelle -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of CONDREA, Daniel Sent: Thursday, February 08, 2007 9:11 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Mid-Tier version 7.0.1 patch 001 with ARS version 6.3 patch 18?
