AHHH  I don't know why my posts are not going to the ARSLIST, but ANYWAY....


I use the ITIL card.  If your organization is lucky enough to have agreed 
(management buy-in) to normalize your description of processes than 
caliming ITIL (or your organziation standard) should be an easy sell.

Not to mention the fact of how do you specify your work progress on 
specific issues or requests for non-IT related things such as Facilities, 
Sales, HR, procurement etc.
