TelAlert can send text messages to a device or it can call a phone number with 
a voice message.

I played with voice messages but wasn't impressed.  Configuration needanyo take 
in account answering is by human or by answering machine.  If by answering 
machine variable length message by the answering machine.

If I driving down the road I would prefer a text message I could look at after 
I find a safe spot to stop instead of getting a voice message that I would need 
to call the system back to get the message repeated.

Subject: Phone notification

We are wanting to nitify the Group members, or individuals assigned to a 
Help Desk ticket by PHONE call, of the assignment.  If a security issue 
arises late at night, no one is logged on to email .. or their computer 
for an alert.  We would like Remedy to call a phone number to notify them 
immediatly of the problem  Can this be done with the base product?  Are 
there add-ins to do this?  Are there vendors with products to do this 
intergrated with Remedy?  Where would I find those vendors?
