David, Can we get a clear answer to the need for a client update? We do not use any of the OOTB applications, completely custom built apps. We also do not use the AR System User Preference form. I need to notify our Desktop Engineering team on this if I need it. Thanks

I just called Remedy support and they said client 20 was not needed for DST. Just the server and midtier... Now what? The Client 20 is indeed needed for DST.. On 3/1/07, Christopher Michaud <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: The reason I asked this question is according to BMC's DST White Paper, there is no client patch... "Q. Is the BMC Remedy User executable affected? Do I have to really re-distribute BMC Remedy User to all my users to correct this DST issue? A. Only the mid tier and server executables contain DST fixes. However, BMC does not recommend applying only a portion of a provided patch. Customers loading the 6.03 Patch 020 or 7.0.01 Patch 001 are strongly encouraged to install the patches in their entirety." However, David's last message seemed to infer that there was. Maybe I'm misinterpreting what he's saying.
