John,

Thanks. We'll give that a try!

Chris,

It's nice to know we're not alone!

It's just one additional reason to move our users to a web version. Now
that we are going to be using the more recent mid-tier this should be
much easier.

Thanks to all,

Leigh

This behavior was happening on our 6.3 unpatched client as well and was
reported as a Bug (or at least questionable behavior) on 3/2/06 (over a
year ago). Results from reporting to BMC = nothing was done.

Leigh,
It's the active window title bar that gets used. I ended up selecting
the "Silver" theme on my laptop (Windows XP) and that gave me dark Title
text.

John,

Thanks for the information. I did get two emails about an hour ago.

You're absolutely right about it being a problems with the Windows
settings and NOT the ARS. I've been testing the new install on my
laptop (usually I'm on a second monitor screen and don't have any
problem). If I look very, very closely I CAN see some writing white on
nearly white. I'll play around with the colors to see if I can make it
darker.

Many thanks,
Leigh

Tried to send this last night. My apologies if it posts twice.

Leigh,
I'm not sure this is your problem but I experienced an issue with the
date pop-up and it had nothing to do with the ARSystem. I had changed
Windows' properties and the font color chosen by Remedy to display the
Month Year at the top of the date dialog was almost the same as that of
the background. It looked as if the text disappeared.

Unless you mean the dialog doesn't even show the individual days of the
month, then I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Subject: ARS 6.3 Patch 21 FYI - Date field pop-up flaw
**
I've seen numerous listings for Patch 21 and the Mid-tier but none about
the flaw I seem to have discovered. When I use the pop-up calendar
associated with a date field, there is NO MONTH displayed.

I've submitted a ticket with Column IT who provide my support (which BTW
has been EXCELLENT) but I don't expect them to address it until Monday.
I figured if there is a work around someone on this list will know or
maybe I've done wrong!

Does anyone know of a correction? I am NEVER on the "bleeding edge" of
these releases, but with DST that's where I find myself.

Thanks,
Leigh
