Job Description:  Design, develop and administer Remedy ARS and related
product solutions to meet the needs of release, change and incident
management processes

Job Responsibilities:

  - Use knowledge acquired from hands-on learning or associated with a
  Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.
  - Design and develop solutions that meet the needs of the business and
  follow established design plans.
  - Provide advanced level operational support for existing Remedy
  system during and outside regular business hours.
  - Meet regularly with customers to understand fully their business
  needs.
  - Perform QA testing (end-to-end, unit and regression testing) for the
  system.
  - Demonstrate a thorough understanding of industry standard technical
  tools, applications, and procedures.
  - Work with internal and external customer to gather requirements.
  - Creatively apply technical knowledge to determine solutions and
  solve complex problems.
  - Use experience and analysis to develop creative and innovative
  solutions.
  - Research and make recommendations on technical issues.

Required Skills:

  - Approximately 4-6 years directly related experience.
  - Focused experience in Remedy ARS, MidTier, and DSO
  - Database technology concepts and terminology knowledge
  - Experience with Sybase, specifically stored procedures and complex
  queries..
  - UNIX experience, in particular Solaris, especially shell scripting.
  - An ability to develop solutions quickly
  - Demonstrated communication and analytical skills
  - Individuals must demonstrate outstanding customer service skills

Desired Skills:

  - Motivated, responsible individual who requires little supervision
  - Ability to solve simple to highly complex problems independently
  - Experience with XML, SOAP, Perl (ARSPerl), C, Java, Remedy API and
  Sybase are highly desired.
  - Development experience with Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports


Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 4-6
years direct job related experience are required..

Unique Requirements: This job requires on-demand work schedule changes to
meet business needs. This job may require limited travel.
