At this point we are knee-deep in CMDB exception processes where we need to
scale out the exceptions to all of the owners so that the bottle-neck is not
centralized in one group. We have build an exception framework to make
certain groups accountable for the exceptions such as a Unix server has not
been discovered in the past 5 business days.

Can other people share their experiences with this topic? In other words,
how are you making the groups responsible for the CMDB issues in a scalable
manner?

Regards,

Matt
