Thanks...but with the 6.3 silent .iss script, there are two pair values-two for the installation location and two for the Home directory. I've set the two for the Home directory.
There is no instance of szDir in my generated .iss file. ________________________________ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Grooms, Frederick W Sent: Tuesday, March 27, 2007 12:57 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Silent Install of User Client Woes If I remember correctly there were 3 lines in the .iss file that held the Home folder. I have recorded a .iss script, but I can't get the installer to accept the location I specified for the Home folder. I'm trying to write the Home folder to the location C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Remedy\Home, but after making this change to the .iss file and re-running the silent install, it doesn't set that location as the location of the Home folder. Instead it creates a Home folder under Program Files, which is the installation location. Has anyone out there done this before successfully or have any ideas?
