Hi,
By setting the text field to unlimited you will have
changed the field from a varchar to character (clob style in oracle terms) check
out the database_ref manual.
You may have to drop the field and recreate it now so that
it is less than 8000 bytes

Subject: Import Solutions
I'm having trouble importing solutions into ARServer. We have solution
summary, solution description, case summary and case description in
more than 300 character ( > 1500 character actually).
I change the field above respectively in HPD:Solutions form through
remedy administrator so it has unlimited length. After that I use
arimport to and have the data imported into that form.
It was succesfull.
But, when I want to search possible solution on solution tab in the
support console, errors showed up like this :
"ARERR [552] Failure during SQL operation to the database: The text,
ntext, and image data types cannot be used in an ORDER BY clause. (SQL
Server 420)"
Has anyone have the same situation like I'am..? Please share your
experience and how did you solve the problems..
