If you are going to be doing an archive of the old helpdesk tickets I would recommend making a copy of the old helpdesk forms removing anything that points at the server such as table fields and then importing the forms into SD7. You can then export the data and import into SD 7. I did this for my client and they are satisfied since the data structure is so drastically different. For all of the open tickets I mapped the minimum amount of fields and created a new table field to hole the related open ticket for viewing. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, 21 May 2007 9:39 AM Subject: Field Mappings - HD4 to SD7
** Hi list, I am sure that there have been people that have mapped fields from Help Desk 4 to Service Desk 7. I am just looking for someone that might be willing to share what they have discovered. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Greg D.
