We have an Open Window command that runs after Commit Changes on submit - Qualification is 'Case ID+' = $LASTID$. Open Window - Window Type:Modify; Display Type: Detail Only; Target Location: Current; Form Name:HelpDesk.
That leaves the case that was just submitted open on the screen.
