My client likes the new forms since they can fine tune the messages and do not
need a developer.

Hi Joe,

With our old forms, I had to place it in each text area of our old notification
filters. In the new Remedy Service Desk 7 forms, I'll place it in the
SYS:Notification form.

Where did you have to place that?

Hi Joe,

I placed the following URL in the notification to make it work
http://remedywebtest/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=HD-HelpDesk&server=cowsvtas01&eid=$CaseID$

This (NULL eid) was recently recognized by Remedy as software bug.. I can't
seem to find that email or I would forward it to you.. I had that NULL eid
problem reported too. And I had the default web path set but yet I am in
receipt of such emails having NULL eid's

Subject: Web URL

**
HI list,

We've placed the default web path in the advanced tab of the admin tool but
when we receive a email notification the web URL states:
http://remedywebtest/arsys/servlet/ViewFormServlet?form=HD-HelpDesk&server=cowsvtas01.ad.cityofwpg.org&eid=NULL

As you may notice, the NULL should be our Request ID so when clicked on, it
brings back an error stating:

ARERR [9280]
Server not present in the configured servers list - cowsvtas01.ad.cityofwpg.org

We want the URL to direct the support group to the correct incident # via the
web. This is what the system generates and I'm wondering if anyone else has
come across this and what was the fix?

Thanks!

mjd
