OK, after comparing the def files I've found that my production server
does have duplicate listings for the ID's I receive the errors (listed
below). The entry below if from the source def file. Why would there be
duplicate entries for those indexes? I've never had a problem like this
before, so I am clueless (more so than usual).

   index : 1\7\0

   index : 1\7\0

   index : 1\536870913\0

   index : 1\4\0

   index : 1\4\0

   index : 1\3\0

   index : 1\3\0

   index : 1\536870923\0

   index : 1\536870923\0

Any help would be appreciated.

Andy,

Since you are uncomfortable, you could try taking a def file of the form

that is now imported (after the import and the error) and compare it
with

the def file that exist on the original server.. do a text comparison
and

see if you can see any differences.. You just may learn something
there..

If they both look the same, I guess you are good to go.. If they look

significantly different.. panic.. :-) and then pass on the differences
to

the list and someone out here might just be able to throw some light..

Joe

I have tested a little and I do not see any obvious problems. It still
makes

me a little uneasy. I believe I will wind up just mirroring the
production

server and go from there.

I use this server to test new features, then export the def files and
import

to the production server. So I usually start by exporting from the

production server then importing to the backup server before starting to
be

sure I have everything synched before I make changes.

Very strange.
