then I would maybe suggest doing a reinstall of the server using the
'shared' option.  This will update all of the files per the install but will
make no changes whatsoever to the DB

Using the starting commands from the services on the command line did not
start the server and did not return an error. Just went back to the comand
prompt.

Arserver will start up fine from the command line..... So why when starting

service executes and execute that on the command line of the server do you

The arerror.log provided no information at all. It just stopped suddenly at
the time the ars crashed.

with our ars 7? It crashed hard all of a sudden and now will not start the
