Joe, thanks for the reply! Actually this is a new installation with no records so I really thought that it would run quicker. I don't have it in dev cache mode but will try that to see if that helps. Currently approaching the 24 hour mark and it's still sitting there.....

Even on a dev system some of my individual patches took over 20 minutes so about 4 hrs on a prod system seems about right if you have a lot of data in the forms that are altered during the process of the patch application... If you do not have your system in a development cache mode it might take even longer.. Cheers Joe -----Original Message----- From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Hardy, Patrick Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2007 2:53 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Patch004 - How long should it take? ** I am attempting to patch to 004. When running the "BMC Atrium CMDB 2.0.01upgrade fix", the setup stays on the command prompt window with "Loading patch please wait..." displayed, the system is not locked up but this has been running for about 4.5 hours. The log files for the patch have not updated since I kicked off the setup this morning. I really don't think this should take 4+ hours... What can be done to make this quicker or is there a manual process that I can perform to accomplish the patch installation?
