We have done the same thing (started with BO-5 and are now on XI) using the
standard views created (we are on SQL Server though).

The only trick is the "DateAdd(xxx)" function needed to convert the integer ->
date/time.

However this spring I had a note from my sales contact that BMC was to be
creating BO-Universes available for ITSM 7. Has anyone heard of these being
available? I checked my saved email and it indicated about this timeframe for
release.

Subject: Re: Business Objects and Remedy

** Hi Jon,

I"ve never done an actual Business Objects install, but when we were using BO X
against Oracle, I was able to create a universe on top of the database by
connecting to it directly and used the views from the Designer application.

Hello List

Has anyone installed Business Objects XI and created a universe on top of AR
System? That is using Remedy's ODBC to create the universe.

Regards
