Hello Kim, A colleague of mine tried sub-reporting too, and yes that does work. I however tried creating a join within the ARS and building a report out of that join.
I wonder what is better for performance? I tried to look at the performance meter on Crystal but with the amount of data we have on our systems as of now it might not be enough to give a good feel of what method may be better over the other.. I have a form that collects data from a vendor via email and those entries are tied to our help desk cases via the Case ID. When I did the sub-report - that was the link. So I can print a Report for a specific ticket with each corresponding entry in the other form. Was this option available in the previous versions of the AR System ODBC driver??? >From the looks of it you can write an SQL statement to create a view to report out of.. I'm beginning to think this might be useful to create a join view of tables to report out of without creating the join form within Remedy.. Has anyone used this option before? And what have you'll done using this option. I'd like to see what different reporting possibilities this option makes available to a report developer. Joe No virus found in this outgoing message.
