Rick, Who knows... maybe they put together a web service and a deploy able application that is distributed with the ARS server so that the license keys can be exchanged directly from your ARS server to the BMC mother ship with just a few clicks of a mouse? (With options to Email or download a file if your ARS server is not Internet accessible.)
<rant> Nah... Who am I kidding? I just had a support issue go for about 4 days in "Status' = "New" and we have "Continuous"(24x7) support. [ ISS03147044, Submitted "7/12/2007 3:07:18 PM" and was in new status through "7/17/2007 7:26:12 AM". At that time they had the "skill" to ask for log files that I had already submitted at "7/16/2007 7:42 AM". ) "Support" is really getting on my last nerve these days. </rant> -- Carey Matthew Black Remedy Skilled Professional (RSP) ARS = Action Request System(Remedy) Love, then teach Solution = People + Process + Tools Fast, Accurate, Cheap.... BTW, I just noticed that David Easter will be taking a session at RUG to show us yet another NEW way of doing licensing. It's supposed to be easier for us, but we'll see. If it makes the entire process more efficient, I'm happy. Rick
