Jarl,

Yes I have checked, it has home directory as aradmin. Even in it's home
directory Java is running.

Output is:

echo $HOME

/export/home/aradmin

Does the aradmin user has a home directory? If not, add a home directory
and relogin with that user and try to run java from console again.

Hi Jarl,

What I observed; when I tried to run java from /opt/app/ar or under it's
subdirectories, it is giving same error:

Error occurred during initialization of VM

java.lang.Error: Properties init: Could not determine current working
directory.

But when I tried the same outside 'ar' directory e.g. /opt/app, /opt or
from root. It's running java for same user 'aradmin'. I think this must be
the exact reason for the error.

So now how can I run Java inside 'ar' directory and within it subdirectory
also, because 'arsystem' script is running inside path
'/opt/app/ar/<ServerName>/bin'.

Regards,

Tarun

Can you run Java from command line from the same user?

Hi,

I checked all these settings. All are fine. User 'aradmin' has ownership
on related directory structure. SNMP settings with 161 are also fine. Env
variable is also correct..LD_LIBRARY_PATH etc.. all are looking fine. Even
there is no pid file in server directory. But the problem is still there.

Tarun
