I've gotta agree with Michael. If you've never learned any programming then anything will be helpful. Not necessarily for Remedy (They wont support integrations written in C++, only C#), but to get your head in tune with how a program is written and layed out. If I was going to take classes now for Remedy specific training I'd probably take some Java. It's pretty platform independent and used for both integrating other applications through the API as well as Mid Tier.

NONE of which I ever used or needed to make a paycheck. Remedy is my bread and butter now, but the lessons I learned in programming the above languages for fun have served me well today. If I had to settle on one... In the long run, learning DB programming in dBase and SQL had the most Remedy "relevance", IMO. It taught me the most about interacting with and manipulating stored data.
