Hi Peter,

We did get this working. We made the mistake of generating the licenses
before we installed the ar server, thereby picking an arbitrary host ID
whilst generating the licenses which of course was never going to work.
(we were mislead into believeing the host ID part was arbitrary with
TRIAL licenses -though we probably mislead ourselves as opposed to
anyone in particular misleading us )-:

I found the host ID within the manage licenses function and generated
some new licenses with this host id and it's fine now.

Thanks for your help,

Steve

Steve,

Sorry for the late reply. Have you got this working now?

The hostid of the AR Server license must be the one that it picks up
from
the system when you apply it. The other licenses requiring a host id
will
then have to use this same host id.

When you start Remedy on the server does it recognise the demo license
or
are you told that the system is unlicensed (look in the admin tool at
the
server information license tab).

If the licenses all seem ok but they are still not being recognised by
the
system then stop Remedy and delete the multilicense file which you will
find in the license path. Start remedy again and check if it is now
licensed.

Cheers

Peter
