Hello,

Can you please explain a bit more what should I do to use 9 libraries
and not 10. Can you specify some exact steps? We have both kind of
environment ARS and DB on same server, ARS and DB on different server.

Do we require any cursor_sharing settings as FALSE also.

Regards,

Tarun

Install in a separate directory and change your environment to have the
ARS use the 9 libraries and not 10

        Hello,

But where we should install Oracle Client 9. I think it should
be in directory 10.2.0 Do we need to set Dbhome directory path as
10.2.0 or 9.2.0 ? I think it should be 10.2.0 because in my ORACLE HOME
it is 10.2.0

        Regards,

        Tarun

        Patrick,

We are on ARS 6.3, SunOS 5.9, Remote Database.

And I think our admin installed Oracle client 10 and remedy will
need Oracle Client 9.

        Regards,

        Hello,

We have upgraded from Oracle 9.2 to Oracle 10g. But when we are
staring AR Services. It is giving error as: "arserverd: fatal:
libclntsh.so.9.0 : open failed: No such file or directory" though we
have already changed Dbhome Directory for this server. It looks it is
referring some older reference of Oracle 9.

Please share if somebody has an idea why this is giving error or
if any other changes are required at remedy end.

        Regards,

        Tarun
